Clinical Use:
For pre-menstrual symptoms of emotional hypersensitivity, irritability, painful breasts, fatigue, insomnia or eating irregularities. Take the formula from ovulation (approximately 2 weeks after the start of the last menses) to the first day of the menstrual flow.
Cautions & Considerations :
Discontinue use with cold or flu symptoms or use the formula "Self Defense or Attack". Contraindicated for uterine fibroids or severe bleeding during menstruation.
How it Works:
Stress (emotional, physical, and environmental) is considered one of the main factors causing irregularities in the production of women?s hormones. The symptoms listed above often correspond to a deficiency of progesterone (observable during the time period after ovulation until menstruation begins)
Chasteberry Fruit is considered an essential herb to treat PMS symptoms. Western herbalists often use it to help regulate the levels of the hormone progesterone.
Overall, the herbs work together to harmonize and regulate the flow of Chi throughout the body. This results in reducing the effects of hormone induced stress.
