Clinical Use:
Helps relieve symptoms of productive cough with yellow or green mucous and tightness in the chest. This formula can be taken along with the formula "Attack" when there are additional Cold and Flu symptoms. You may discontinue use when the symptoms have been resolved.
Cautions & Considerations :
Cough #2 Can be taken along with antibiotics but not with western drugs used for treating coughs. This formula is for acute conditions. Reduce the dosage as the condition improves to prevent over drying. Cough #2 is safe for nursing mothers but pregnant women should only use under the care of a qualified health practitioner.
How it Works:
Cough #2 is designed for the most common type of cough symptoms. Over the years, viral strains have become increasingly virulent. They often (very rapidly) penetrate the body?s defense system and go directly into the lungs. This is a potentially dangerous condition and treatment needs to be aggressive in order to fight off the offending pathogens before they wear down the bodies immune system.
The first group of herbs work synergistically to open the blocked lungs and dissolve the phlegm which causes the coughing.
The Isastis root and leaf extract have the remarkable ability to fight both viral and bacterial infections throughout the body.
